| All websites MUST contain all the basic
tags in the head to head tags to get noticed by the search
engines the fact is the less you use the better here is the minimum
that I use on almost all my sites.

VERY IMPORTANT make sure that all these links
relate to your theme, Example: If I am selling fruit then I don't
want to have a link going to another site selling comic books it
should be fruit related in some way because this will hurt your
ranking potential, You want all links to your site whether they are
on your domain or not to be related this is why quality links are so
important this is one of the best marketing tips as well as
one of the most common mistakes made on the net.
Here are just a few more tips for you to consider.
1. Always manual submit to the search engines if you see someone
telling you for $59.95 they will submit your site to
5.000 search engines don't do it because most of the search engines
today consider that to be spam and they more often than not wont
even index it into their data base.
2.The truth is don't submit a site more than twice a month if
they don't index it by then something's wrong with the optimization
of the site itself.
3. The
Google search engine it seems that a lot of people are
having trouble getting into Google here are the ways that will get
your website into Google.
1.Get listed into the
DMOZ directory Google gets
most of their websites that they index into their engine from there
as well as the
Yahoo directory.
2.Get your website link on a site that is already listed in
Google so when Google crawls their site again they will pick up your
link and index it as well this is easier than getting into DMOZ and
the Yahoo directory's.
